Ever wondered where the Top 25 richest neighborhoods in Canada are?.
Here is the Roll Call
No surprises that our lovely British Columbia has 5 neighborhoods on the list but is not one of the top 2. I also learned a few things about Winnipeg with 4 neighborhoods on the list!.
#1.Sunnybrook, Toronto leads with a staggering average Household Net Worth of $22,709,428 (▲9% since 2014) . Average Annual Household Income $289,434 and where disappointingly the average House Price is $2,224,215. I don’t know why I was expecting so much more..
Not sure how to do this specific math but I would love to learn how an average annual household income of $289,434 builds an average household net worth of $22,709,428. e I would love to learn this exponential investment abilities. It has to be really old money.
This neighbourhood stole the top spot from The Bridle Path by growing its average household net worth by 9% since 2014, leaping over second-place York Mills–Windfields. The area was once the country estate of Canada Paper Company magnate Joseph Kilgour, and today is more associated with the prominent research hospital that shares its name. But residents know that the real crown jewel is the Sunnybrook Stables, which allows the horsey set an easy stroll from their front doors to the paddock.
York Mills- Winfields also of Ontario comes in at #2 with Average Household Net Worth: $20,944,385 (▼6% since 2014)
Average Annual Household Income: $869,581
Average House Price: $2,262,694
Rounding out the list at #25 is Beauforth Avenue South in Halifax Nova Scotia.
Average Household Net Worth: $4,009,219 (▲11% since 2014)
Average Annual Household Income: $205,278
Average House Price: $891,646
See what I mean?. An average annual income of $205,278 and an average household net worth of $4m . Definitely a lot more reachable goals for most of us. We’ll even take the Average House price of $891,646 in one of Canadas’ richest neighborhoods but that would mean moving from BC.
